I don't remember being this exhausted when I had a newborn. I'm definitely getting exercise, but the Pee/Poop Patrol is going to do me in.In other news, The sample CD in the new issue of Paste(Shins cover) is great. I bought it because there's an interview with Lucinda Williams and she's one of my all time favorites. If you haven't heard her record Car Wheels on a Gravel Road I highly recommend it. She's a great songwriter. I'm also excited about the new Shins CD. I love the track included on this sample CD.
The sun is shining here in the Sunshine State so if I can I'll take an updated picture of By the Bay's 13th Colony Bay. I've made a little progress since my last photo. I will not get it finished this month like I had hoped but such is life. Why can't I finish it? Well we fell under the spell of LOST. It's the greatest tv show ever. Ok, maybe I just don't have much of a life but we have plowed through Season 1 and Season 2 on DVD and caught up with Season 3 at ABC.com and I'm anxiously awaiting the new episode that will air Feb. 7th. Of course due to some kind of dispute we lost our ABC station so I'll have catch it on Feb. 8th at ABC.com. Can you believe we don't have an ABC station any more?

Aww, what a cutie, such a pretty color and great name too! I am currently serving on pee/poo patrol as well with Astro, so I feel your pain. He rarely pees/poops inside...we keep him restrained on a leash while he's inside, or in a area that can be blocked off and he sleeps in a kennel. He's constantly underfoot but it has really cut back on the "accidents" in the house. We did that with our other pug and so it's worked for us.

Polly is so sweet! Bu then, all babies are sweet when they are sleeping, right? Maybe she just has a wee tiny puppy bladder, so will need to go a lot?? Good luck with the Patrol :)
Polly is adorable! We trained two yorkies at the same time ... not fun! Hang in there...they do get it eventually!

What a sweetie! They are precious when they're asleep, aren't they. We're currently doing the new puppy pee/poop patrol thing too so you have my sympathy. While my Harley doesn't look anything like your Miss Prissypants, they MUST be related since she squats to pee almost as soon as she walks in the door after doing it outside! LOL
Hello Polly! So cute..... how old is she? The p/p patrol is what keeps me from adopting any more pups-I spent way too much time with the carpet cleaner the last time we added a new family member. But they are so worth it!
That Dog Whisperer advice applies to adult dogs, not puppies. Puppies are babies, and like all babies they pee/poop quite often. You're not doing anything wrong, though you might want to try those pads you can put on the floor inside and try to train Polly to use it while she is young.
